River Management Plan

CRJC first published its Connecticut River Corridor Management Plan in 1997. The plan is a six-volume set, including a Riverwide Overview and specific plans for each of the river’s five regions: Headwaters, Riverbend, Upper Valley, Mount Ascutney and Wantastiquet. The Water Resources Chapter was updated in 2008 and was published as the Water Resources Management Plan.

The Recreation Chapter was updated in 2013 was published as the Recreation Management Plan.

These plans have been created by the local citizen representatives of the five Local River Subcommittees, who also work to implement these plans and assist their towns in adopting its recommendations.
